It’s always a special time, taking your daughter to get her ears pierced for the very first time, a right of passage, a step towards wearing lovely earrings and womanhood, as she embraces… no, hang on, scrap that..
Brooklyn Beckham went to get his ears pierced at Claire's Accessories at Westfield shopping centre in Shepherd’s Bush on Saturday. Brooklyn and his dad, David snuck in via the back. Meanwhile his mum, Victoria and his brother Romeo simply walked in through the front door.
The store manager, Joe Parker told The Sun: “They picked the most expensive earring — but Victoria told him to go a size down so it wasn’t too blingy.
“Brooklyn was cool but I was so nervous, I was like, ‘I can’t mess this up’.”
He said: “They didn’t ask us to close. A few customers noticed, but things stayed calm. I think they were in disbelief.”
The Beckhams left by the back door after 30 minutes. Joe, 27, said: “I couldn’t believe what I had experienced. “They were a lovely family.”
