Most boyband stars love the attention they get from their fans – devotees throw their underwear at them, shower them with love and kisses anywhere they can and sometimes even try to jump in their bed.

But Boyzone star Ronan Keating is a bit more sensible now and is putting his safety first now he’s appearing in the West End.

The singer wants the front row at London’s Phoenix Theatre to be moved back as he’s worried his fans will try to mob him while he’s on stage during his musical Once.

A source told The Sun: “Ronan’s female fans may well be into their thirties, but they are known to sometimes get excited and revert back to their teenage years.

“Ronan isn’t being a diva by requesting this. He is just taking precautions through the years of experience.”

The star took on the role of Irish busker Guy in the production last week and hopes to wow audiences with his performance.

Good luck, Ronan! We hope those bras thrown by fans don’t take your eyes out!
