It’s never nice to go through a split, so spare a thought for Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent – she’s split from her footballer boyfriend Josh McEachran.
The actress, who plays Sophie Webster on the soap, had been dating the Chelsea player since 2011 but they decided to go their separate ways last week.
The couple are said to have struggled after Josh was lent to Dutch team Vitesse Arnhem and they found it difficult to conduct a long-distance relationship.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Brooke and Josh still have feelings for each other, but their long-distance relationship has just been too hard. The split is for good.”
Despite the split, the star looked cheerful this week as she posed for pictures ahead of a charity run for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity.
Posting a snap on Twitter, she wrote: "Me and my mate Charlotte are ready for our run @RMCHcharity #moonriserun."
Brooke and Josh broke up for a short period last May after a series of arguments but soon reunited.
