Louis Tomlinson has a deal with Sony to launch his own record label – 78 Productions.

Which is very wise, we say, for the “what the hell do I do now One Direction have split” moment that will have to happen at some point in time (sorry, but it’s true).

And Louis has appointed his mum Johanna as co-director of his new company, 78 Productions.

An insider told The Sun: “Johannah will keep business ticking over when Louis is busy with the band.

“Due to his touring schedule, he doesn’t see his family very often so this is a great way of getting them involved. He already got his sister Lottie a job as 1D’s make-up artist.”

Keeping it in the family, we see. The Mitchell clan on EastEnders would be proud, Louis.

Lou has had a hectic week, after taking five girls back to his hotel room after a night of partying. It’s good to see he’s still got his eyes on the prize.

We didn’t realise you were such a mummy’s boy, Louis. Good on you, though – mums are the best thing in the world.
