Things don’t seem to be going too well for Nicole Scherzinger lately – after splitting from long-term boyfriend Lewis Hamilton in February, she’s reportedly been dropped from her UK record label.

The former Pussycat Dolls star was signed to RCA Records over here in Britain but they are said to have let her go after poor sales of her second album.

The singer’s first single Your Love went in at number six in the UK Singles Chart but the second song released, Run, only managed to reach 46, and third single On the Rocks reached number 90.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “There is the feeling that Nicole didn’t get the support she needed on the release to make it a success.

“Fans have been grumbling that they didn’t think the right singles were released by the record label.

“A number of new songs from Nicole leaked online a few weeks ago and fans were angry that they weren’t on her last album.”

Former X Factor judge Nicole is still signed to record label Epic in America and it’s thought it won’t be long before she’s snapped up again in the UK.

The source added: “It’s unlikely Nicole will be out of a record deal in the UK for long and she’s still signed to Epic in the US.

“She’s taking her time in the studio with her new tracks and is keen to go more down the singer-songwriter path.”

We have contacted a representative for Nicole for comment.
