Daniel Craig jokes that Niall Horan should be the next James Bond

We’re on the lookout for a new James Bond, seeing as the current one – Daniel Craig – has said he’d rather kill himself than film another 007 movie.

So who should be the next Bond? Idris Elba? Tom Hardy? Benedict Cumberbatch? Kate Winslet, even?

Nah, none of them. How about One Direction’s Niall Horan?

Now he may not seem like a natural fit, but we bet given the right training and a sharp tux, he could really get stuck into those Martinis, Bond girls and baddies.

Well, that’s what Daniel thinks anyway. He seemed to back the 22 year old when told of his interest in the iconic role by Capital FM.

"Absolutely fabulous. He would [do it justice]," he chuckled.

Thinking about it, there’s a fairly strong chance he was joking actually…
