He’s played a hot dwarf in The Hobbit and the brooding Polark but now, Aidan Turner is back…as a very sexy, gun-toting mercenary.
Aidan plays Philip Lombard in the BBC’s adaptation of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None and it looks like it’s going to be full of those intense Poldark moments we’ve grown to love.
Filmed in Cornwall (where Poldark was set) Aidan, 32, revealed how much he enjoying playing Philip, who sounds pretty scary.
“I play Philip Lombard, who's a gun for hire, a mercenary,” he told the Radio Times. “He's done a lot of nasty things for his own benefit; really immoral, only cares about himself, massive ego, but a smart, confident, charming guy.
“To play a Ross Poldark kind of character and then to jump to Lombard is interesting, because they're very different people. Lombard isn't necessarily an evil person, I think he's misguided, you know?”
We’ll happily guide him back to the right path…
