So you’ve heard that insanely catchy song, I’m An Albatraoz, right? Well we thought we ought to find out a little more about the superstar DJ behind the smash hit – AronChupa.

So we had a little chat with him. Here are 10 things you need to know about AronChupa:

AronChupa – also known as Aron Michael Ekberg – was born in Boras, Sweden in 1991.
The first single AronChupa bought was Everybody by the Backstreet Boys. In fairness, it’s a total TOON.
He is mostly listening to Austrian musician, producer and DJ, Parov Stelar, at the moment.
The best advice he’s ever been given is: “It’s 100 times better to dream about something than to achieve it.”
He dreamt about Charlie Chaplin last night. Bit weird…
He loves documentaries. He says, “I like to learn stuff when I watch TV. I guess I’m kind of a nerd in that way."
His celebrity crush is Natalie Portman.
His single, I'm An Albatraoz, was just included in the Shazam Hall of Fame in the Top 100 most Shazamed of all time!
He won’t tell us who the most famous person he has on his phone is. “Hahaha, I’ll have to keep that one unsaid.”
He said he felt like he’d made it when he heard his song on the radio for the first time. “It felt pretty special.”
