If you thought Katy Perry being dressed as a giant angel would be the biggest talking point of the Met Gala 2018, you're much mistaken. Because rapper 2 Chainz came along and stole literally everyone's thunder by proposing to his girlfriend on the red carpet last night.
He got down on one knee and asked Nakeska Ward, who is the mother of his three kids, to marry him with a massive diamond ring. And she looked absolutely delighted.
She was photographed wiping tears away from her eyes and saying "yes'. She later told E!: “It’s crazy, he just gave me this! So happy! I love it."
Earlier that day on Instagram, 2 Chainz had posted a photo with the caption: “Today a perfect day to be Great.”
However, there have been a number of reports circulating that he already proposed to her in 2013, and some even suggest that they're already married.
But a source told People: "They’ve been together so long and have three children together that he always refers to Kesha as his wife, but they’ve never actually tied the knot!"
