We aren’t over the tinsel-covered Christmas hurdle yet but the monster that is awards season 2016 is already starting to rear its glamorous head. Ready for the red carpet attack?

Basically, the first 3 months of every year are taken up with event after swanky event with red carpets being rolled out on a daily basis for fancy shoes to strut along. Whether it’s the Oscars, BAFTAs, Brits or Grammys, we always look forward to seeing who has won and wore what.

The Grammy Awards 2016 nominations were announced today and there are plenty of surprises! Surprise SNUBS and just regular surprises. There are also a heap-load of noms we could’ve bet our last dollar on being included.

Taylor Swift, who had a pretty stonking 2015, has received more than one nod while The Weeknd also bagged a couple as did Brit hat wearing babe James Bay.

Nick Jonas was left off the nominations list (boo) despite having one of the biggest songs of the year with his hit Jealous.

Here's the list of nominees for you to have a good look at. Beware – it’s probably best to make a cuppa or have a wee BEFORE reading. It’s not exactly short…
