It’s becoming one of the great mysteries of our time.
The secret Big Mac sauce recipe?
Who actually killed Lucy Beale*?
Simon Cowell’s hair?
This is more of a riddle than all the above. The great question of our times is: where the actual heck is Nick Grimshaw taking the Boys for the Judges’ Houses stage of The X Factor?

At first, Manchester was touted and we felt a bit sorry for the Boys as Rita Ora is taking the Girls to LA, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is jetting the Groups to Rome and Simon Cowell is bussing the Overs to the South of France.
Then Paris was mentioned as the Boys’ destination and we felt that they were getting less of a raw deal.
And now it looks as though Nick is taking his X Factor group to… Pembrokeshire.
Frankly, so long as Mark Ronson turns up wearing only palm leaves to cover his modesty we don’t really care where it is. We just want to know where it is!
And it’s not like the reveal of who’s going through will be there anyway. For the first time ever, the final six will find out if they’ve made it to the final three during a live broadcast from Wembley.
We haven’t given this a tonne of thought but we think on balance we’re probably against it. If only because people might be less likely to cry if it’s filmed in front of a live studio audience.
And the crying is probably the best bit of the whole of The X Factor other than Halloween week. Don’t pretend you don’t love the crying too.
*Come on. As if Bobby did it. As if.
