Adam Deacon has been found guilty of posting abusive messages online about his co-star Noel Clarke.
The Kidulthood actor reportedly sent a "barrage" of messages via social media after the pair fell out.
Deacon and Clarke were said to have fallen out over the name of Anuvahood, which Deacon co-wrote and directed in 2011. The film was a commercial successful and won 32-year-old Deacon a BAFTA rising star award.

Clarke told the Hammersmith Magistrates Court: "We fell out in 2011 due to the fact that the films that I had made - Kidulthood and Adulthood - were very popular and in 2010 Mr Deacon asked if he could do a film which was a spoof of the film that I had done."
Doctor Who actor, Clarke, told the court room that he helped launch Deacon's acting career and continued to support him.
He revealed that he started receiving abusive messages, including death threats, from Deacon after the initial falling out.
It was mentioned in court that Clarke had tried to help Deacon with his spoof project, but this came to an end when Deacon reportedly signed a contract that cut Clarke and his team out of the project.
It was under a verbal agreement that Deadon wouldn't use the name Anuvahood, which Deacon didn't adhere to.
After this Clarke said he received messages which caused his family stress.
"They were abusive in nature, some calling me a bully, some saying I was sabotaging him. They went on to include inciting people to hurt me, and sent videos on Instagram," said Clarke.
It was said there was a picture posted on social media of Clarke's young family, a picture of a gun and the message: "You have to love family."
Clarke went to the police in 2014.
District Judge Shenagh Bayne, who found Deacon guilty, told him: "You were aware of the effect that your behaviour would have.
"You clearly were trying to illicit a response from Mr Clarke otherwise why post #wallofsilence, #industry and #standuptobullies.
"I am satisfied so that I am sure that you intended to cause him harassment and distress because of your grievance that goes back a long time."
Deacon was convited and released on bail, and is due to be sentenced on August 20, at the same court.
