Adele is apparently in talks to make a cameo in a film starring Susan Sarandon and fitty-fitty-fit-fit Kit Harrington. Oooh!

The much-loved singer is apparently in the running for a small part in the next film from Xavier Dolan, who directed the video for Adele's single, Hello.

The Life and Death of John F Donovan is the French-Canadian director's latest project but Adele is not expected to record any new music for the film – gutted.

The plot centres around an American film star whose correspondence with an 11-year-old actor is exposed, prompting assumptions that begin to destroy his life and career. Sounds...heavy.

"I'm sure I'll get some flak for this but I actually would like to act," Adele said on KISS FM a week after the* Hello* video descended on a slavering public.

Adele's already au fait with the film biz as she won an Oscar for Skyfall, the theme for the James Bond flick of the same name.

If she does make the transition into acting, she'll be following in the steps of musician -turned-actors including Jack White (fellow Bond theme writer), Cher (our queen), and, err, Kym Marsh.

Have you seen Sir David Attenborough's narration of the Hello video? It is SPECTACULAR.
