Adele has announced an absolutely huge tour of North America this morning, spanning 56 dates over five months next year.
The tour will see Adele hit North America at the beginning of July next year until November. The date start just two weeks after her European tour (spanning Febraury to June) ends.
Tickets to Adele's European tour have already sold out and tickets are being sold for uyp to £10,000... so if we were you, we'd stuff the money-grabbing touts, get yourself a nice plane ticket, have a holiday and see Adele in the States for half the price. Yeah?
Adele made the announcement this morning on her Twitter page, in a similar way to her announcement of her Eurpoean tour last month, which sold out in just minutes.
It will be Adele's big return to the US, after she cancelled dates back in 2011 because of vocal problems. And back then, it was tiny theatres, and not basketball arenas she was playing...
The tour, in support of her monster-hit album, 25, is Adele's first since 2011. In interviews prior to the announcement she had claimed she wasn't sure she could face touring. But in a video at the end of last month, she admitted: "I've been bluffing this whole time and I'm so relieved to tell you, I am of course coming on tour."
