Adele has called in close pal Robbie Williams to cheer her up after her album is delayed

Who better than Robbie Williams to cheer you up when you're down in the dumps?

He’s so cheeky that it’s almost illegal. In fact, he is so overwhelmingly positive that the Robster has been called in by songstress Adele 'cos she's all down in the dumps.

The Sun reports that Adele has called in the Take That star to help cheer her up over in LA after recent rumours that her relationship with Simon Konecki is on the rocks.

An insider told the paper: “Adele hasn’t seen Robbie since last summer but was thrilled to visit. “No matter what’s happening, Rob always manages to cheer her up.

“He’s always made it clear that if she ever needs someone to turn to, he’s there.”

The Sun on Sunday previously reported that Adele and Simon, who she has a one-year-old son, Angelo, with, are no longer living together - and haven’t seen each other in month, though the singer denies this.

Adele, who rarely uses Twitter, wrote on December 28: “Simon and I are still very much together.”

However, the couple didn’t attend close friend Elton John’s recent wedding to David Furnish – instead sending a note to congratulate them on their nuptials.

A source told* The Sun on Sunday* that Simon is now living in a bachelor pad 60 miles out of London. Adele’s third album has also been delayed.
