Adele is a friendly young lady - she once told James Corden on his Late Late Show that she got a bit too tipsy with fans while waiting for a friend to turn up on a night out and just handed out a load of free tickets to her gig.

So you wouldn’t expect her to ban herself from hanging out with anyone, would you? Well, SHE HAS!

The singer is refusing to let herself spend any time with Rihanna the night before she headlines Glastonbury this year in case she gets stoned and loses her voice.

Epic warbler Adele confirmed she would be performing at the music festival this summer during her performance at London’s O2 Arena on Friday.

And on Saturday she told fans she would not be spending any time with Rihanna at her Wembley show in June as it happens just hours before she’s due to perform at Glasto.

Rihanna

Adele said: “I love her. I’m thinking of going to Coventry to watch Rihanna because she’s playing Wembley the day before I play Glastonbury, and if I go to that, I’ll have no voice, I know it. All that weed in the air - I’ll get stoned.

“But I love her, honestly, all of that new album I love. I gotta try and go see her.”

Adele is on a bit of a health kick after she suffered a vocal haemorrhage in 2011 that forced her to cancel the remainder of her tour, and she gave up smoking in 2014.

And the star needs her voice to be in top condition as she previously admitted she was too nervous to play at Glastonbury which is known for crowds of up to 175,000.

She said: “The crowds are too big - I don’t know if I could do it.”

Good luck, Adele!
