Adele Silva has had a baby girl with fiancé Oliver Farber

Here’s some lovely, cuddly, baby-shaped news to brighten up your Friday (yes, it’s Friday! We repeat, IT IS FRIDAY).

Ex-Emmerdale actress Adele Silva has given birth to her first child, a daughter, with her fiancé Oliver Farber.

Her rep said: "AM Concepts UK would like to announce our client Adele Silva has given birth yesterday to a baby girl. Mother and baby are doing well."

Adele, who played Kelly Windsor in Emmerdale, is yet to tweet, but we imagine that’s because she’s snuggled up with her lovely new baby, and not on her phone – the way it should be, really.

She has previously spoken out about her past miscarriages - she sadly suffered three before giving birth to her daughter.

She told Closer: “I feel I've been robbed of the pregnancy experience.”

She told Lorraine: “It’s always at the forefront of my mind, something could happen, because there’s a hell of a lot of people out there who are a lot worse off than I am’ she told Lorraine.

“I’ve never truly allowed myself to get really excited.”
