Honestly, we’ve always been pretty certain of Adele’s badass bitchery. If however you’d not got the memo about our queen… well she’s here to remind you.

Speaking to *Rolling Stone *magazine’s Brian Hiatt as part of the most eagerly awaited come back since… well probably ever tbh, the singer opened up about feminism and gender inequality within the music industry.

Adele’s been pretty busy, what with writing a new record full of soon-to-be smash hits, so we don’t blame her for her pop culture knowledge being a bit rusty. Although we’re not quite sure how she’s managed to miss Beyonce making feminism officially the coolest thing since sliced bread.

Hiatt revealed in the article that the star “has been so busy the past few years that she's only faintly aware of the newfound prominence of feminism in the pop-cultural discourse.”

Despite that, Adele still managed to drop some serious truth bombs, reflecting on the double standards of the entertainment industry:

“If there's a movement, that's great. Who's doing it? Will you ask me if I'm a feminist? I don't think many men in interviews get asked if they're feminist.”

The singer admitted she is in fact a feminist, “sipping wine” as she revealed “I believe that everyone should be treated the same, including race and sexuality."

The Hello hitmaker described her reaction to men who looked down on her with a “what do you know” attitude:

"It's like, 'Well, I'm the fking artist,'" she said. "'So I fking know everything, actually! Like, don't f**king talk down to me!’”

LOL Adele, you are our girl-power queen.
