So apart from the FOO FIGHTERS confirming their headline slot at this year's Worthy Farm festival the British legend Adele may also be joining the US band in June.

A source told The Mirror: "Most of the acts have been booked for Glasto but Michael and daughter Emily Eavis are still trying to get Adele for Saturday night.

"She has been on their wishlist for a few years now. Negotiations are ongoing but this is the closest they have got to signing her."

Last year Adele commented on what it would feel like to perform at a festival, and it wasn't a positive one.

The 26-year-old said: "The thought of an audience that big frightens the life out of me.

"I don't think the music would work, either. It's all too slow. I'd hate to book a festival and have a ******* anxiety attack and then not go on stage, do you know what I mean?"

To the joy of many Foo Fighters' fans, they announced the news of their headline slot at Glasto during their acceptance speech for Best International Band at the NME Awards 2015.

The band's frontman, Dave Grohl, said: "Thank you Chrissie for presenting this award to us.

"This is amazing, we love you very much, but we also love all of the fans for voting for our band for this award.

"We're very thankful and very happy - sorry we couldn't make it tonight, but we will be seeing you over the summer at some big outdoor festival that nobody knows we're playing. It's Glastonbury! So we'll see you at Glastonbury - thanks a lot everybody!"
