Adele said an emotional goodbye to her Las Vegas residency at the end of last month, after two incredible years – admitting she didn’t know when she would next perform. And, while the 36-year-old pop superstar is settling into a well-earned break from showbiz, she may have other things on 2025 planner to keep her busy – a second baby and a wedding.

The Someone Like You singer, who shares son Angelo, 11, with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, has long spoken about wanting to add to her brood. In May, she told fans onstage, ‘Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby. I want a girl, because I've already got a boy.’

And it appears she’s also keen to set a date for her wedding with her fiancé, sports agent Rich Paul. The pair, who have been dating since 2021, reportedly got engaged in secret in Adele’s hometown of Tottenham, North London, in July – something which she seemingly confirmed when she took her Weekends with Adele residency to Munich, Germany, in August. Reading out a fan’s proposal, she told the crowd, ‘I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married!’

Adele has been looking forward to settling down with Rich, 43, since before the residency started, with a source previously telling heat, ‘She’s been dropping serious hints about welcoming a little one very soon. They have been picking out baby names, setting up a nursery in their new home – it’s been full steam ahead for the past several months.’

Although a break isn’t something new for Adele – the singer hasn’t released any music since her record-breaking fourth album 30 came out in 2021 – she’s made it clear that she’s ready to enter a new phase of her life, perhaps away from the spotlight. She told the audience of her show earlier this year, ‘I just don’t know when I want to next come onstage. And it's time to move on. It's time for the next chapter and it's time for the next season of my life.’

Whatever comes next, we wish nothing but the best for you, Adele, babes…
