Adele will spend this Christmas eating Chinese food in her PJs

When you’re one of the biggest celebrities in the world, Christmas means fancy party invites and loads of free presents. But not for Adele, who’s revealed she’ll be having the most low key celebration ever. And it sounds amazing.

“In case you were wondering I'm in my dressing gown eating a Chinese watching EastEnders,” the Hello singer told her fans on Twitter. “Merry bloody Christmas!! X.” And to you, Adele.

Following her incredible comeback with 25, Adele, admitted she kept well away from the limelight for fear it would have a negative effect on her life.

“I think it’s really important so that you don’t get f*_ed up by everything,” Adele, 27, told T_IME Magazine. “It’s important so you stay in touch with yourself.

“If you lose touch with yourself, no one’s going to want to talk to you or listen to anything you’re f***ing doing. They'll just point at you and laugh. At you, not with you.”

We don't think this is ever going to happen to you, love. But if it means you're going to spend Christmas eating a Chinese out of plastic cartons in front of the TV, we salute you.
