Aidan Turner, who plays regulation Cornish hottie Ross Poldark, has been sexing up our Sunday nights for the past few weeks, and we're blaahdy LOVING it.
But, if you've ever fantasised about being whisked off on Poldark's horse for a ride along the rugged Cornish cliffs, or taken down into his mine for a good rogering, we've got some devastating news. He could be ALREADY ENGAGED - to the very talented and beautiful West End actress Sarah Greene.
According to The Metro, the actor popped the question just after Christmas - but they have kept the news quiet because neither want to be part of a celebrity couple.
Apparently they "don’t really go for the glitzy lifestyle", according to sources - and Sarah has spoken out about shying away from the limelight before, saying, "The minute you open yourself to that, the more they want from you. I have a private life and I want that to be private".
Aidan also isn't a fan of being a famous couple: "I don’t want people to know much about me," he said recently. "It allows me to do more with the characters if they aren’t in tune with what Aidan Turner is all about."
See, even when he talks in the third person, we STILL fancy him!
