It may be getting chillier and rainier but that can only mean one thing. Amazing Saturday night TV season is back! We are literally SO excited for the return of Strictly Come Dancing on 2nd September, and the line-up is now gradually leaking out which is only adding to our frenzy. After yesterday's news that Jeremy Vine was confirmed for the show, hosts and Strictly veterans Alex Jones and Matt Baker confirmed on tonight's episode of The One Show that TV chef Ainsley Harriott will be the second competitor. Ainsley cheered up our TV screens in the '90s as the very smiley host of Ready Steady Cook along with Can't Cook, Won't Cook, so we're looking forward to seeing him shake his salsa thang with a giant grin on his face.
We wonder who Ainsley will be partnered with? She'll be a very lucky lady indeed, presumably receiving lots of late night snacks and yummy packed lunches in the studio...
