heat's very own guest editor Alan Carr is engaged to his long-term boyfriend Paul Drayton – and he's already planning his wedding.
The Chatty Man star showed off his brand new engagement ring ahead of his takeover of heat's Facebook Live conference (which is happening on Monday 3 October at 11am – stick it in your diary NOW), and revealed the "hellish" proposal.
"He asked me to marry him in Lombok," Alan told The Sun.
"There were nine couples in this boutique hotel and a man playing the organ. I went to the toilet and came out to eat dessert.
"And then I was like, 'Oh my god, a filling's come out, just my luck on holiday'.
"I pull it out and it's this ring and then the man on the organ starts singing Can You Feel The Love Tonight?.
Alan said the whole proposal was his "idea of hell" – especially as all the staff and chefs then trooped out to sing along, but didn't know any lyrics other than 'Can you feel the love tonight?'. LOL.
Sounds actually adorable to us.
The comedian also revealed that he and actor Paul are already planning their wedding for next year – and his best mate Adele could be bridesmaid.
"The engagement only happened last week so I don't know exactly what we'll do," he added.
"But a big old wedding and we'll get Adele singing Someone Like You."
N'AWWW.
Massive congratulations to Alan and Paul – make sure you tune into heat's Facebook Live on Monday 3 October at 11am to see the ring!
