Alan Carr has made _heat_story by guest-editing our next issue!
The funnyman headed to heat Towers on Monday 3 October to pick his Torso Of The Week, give various features the nod and practise his best Anna Wintour impression.
And he. Was. BRILLIANT.
Over half a million of you saw Alan pop up in your Facebook feed, asked him questions and watched as he ummed and ahhed over the prevelance of pleather trousers ("They give you thrush").
It's the first time we've handed the reins over to a guest-editor, and not gonna lie, we were a but nervous. What if he'd run riot? What if he decided to fire everyone? Or worse – implemented a no-cake-in-the-office rule? HOW WOULD WE LIVE?
As it turned out, Alan was an absolute natural, quickly ploughing through our news conference and deciding which hot stories should be gracing the front cover when heat hits the news stands on Tuesday 11 October.
He even signed his brand new book Alanatomy for a select few lucky readers, and gave us the scoop on his upcoming work for Stand Up To Cancer, happening on 21 October.
