Alesha Dixon refusing to wed partner despite being desperate for married life

Everyone wants to be proposed to in the most special way possible so we can’t blame Alesha Dixon for holding out for the perfect moment – the singer’s hubby has asked her to marry him loads of times but she’s refused.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge is desperate to tie the knot with the father of her daughter but she won’t until he gets down on one knee.

Alesha admits partner Azuka Ononye - or AZ for short - has asked for her hand in marriage many times but says he doesn’t take it seriously.

She told The Sun: “AZ has asked me to marry him loads of times now. He’s always doing it, but I always say no. It’s like he’s joking around.

“I want him to buy a ring and get down on one knee. When he does that I’ll say yes straight away.

“I definitely want to marry him. I’m sure about that.”

While Alesha is ready to get married as soon as AZ whisks her off her feet, she admits she’s not in a hurry to have another child just yet.

The star gave birth to daughter Azura Sienna in 2013 but wants to accomplish a few other things first.

She said: “I definitely want more children. Not immediately, because I have a few more life goals I want to achieve, but sometime.

“I love being a mother, it has brought be even closer with AZ, so we would like more children one day."

Alesha is back on the judging panel of Britain’s Got Talent tonight at 8pm on ITV1.
