Alex Bowen throws major shade at Liam Payne after his cringe Insta post

It’s safe to say Liam Payne’s latest Instagram post has NOT gone down very well on social media. People have been calling the former 1D star out, labelling him ‘cringe’, ‘embarrassing’, and ‘the worst person out there at the minute’… ouch.

Earlier in the week, Liam shared a photo of himself sticking his middle finger up with the caption: “You can only get jet lag from a jet, the rest of y'all have got plane lag. #NoF**ks.”

Yep. We cringed too.

Liam deleted the post shortly after, but it seems he’s still getting a little bit of stick for it.

And one person who seemed to take a particular dislike to it, was none other than Love Island’s Alex Bowen.

Screenshotting the photo on Twitter, he wrote: “This kid is fucking lost I don’t get how he’s done well he’s the most average kid I’ve ever seen in my life😂and saying shit like that then deleting it off his insta… such a biscuit.”

Obvs the 1D fans hit back at Alex, with one tweeting: “Everyone’s entitled to opinion but you’ve no right to judge anyone after u had sex on national tv,” to which Alex replied: “*great sex”.

He also tweeted: “Arguing with one direction fans has been the highlight of my taxi home 😂 suppose I better take the poster down from my bedroom wall… oh man”.

In other Liam Payne news, him and Rita Ora gave their first live performance of 'For You' a couple of nights ago on **The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon **and the pair got pretttty close in the process 👀 .
