We don’t mean to alarm anyone, but this year's series of Big Brother finished less than THREE MONTHS AGO.
We know. We feel like it was on in about 1998 too.
It was a time before all the dramz brought by Celebrity Big Brother, Stephen Bear, Ex On The Beach, The X Factor, Stephen Bear and Stephen Bear – and we can scarcely remember tuning in to see Marco Pierre White Jr frolicking about and sucking Laura Carter's boob.
A significant talking point of the series (bar the aforementioned boob sucking), was Alex Cannon. He not only was basically perfect in the looks department, but he was also embroiled in a Ross and Rachel type will-they-won't-they with bezzie mate Vicky Pattison outside the house.
She went on Loose Women and said she thought she loved him, and revealed a deal they made to marry each other when they reach 30.
And speaking to heat after his eviction from the house, Alex said (of Vicky): I missed that girl so much. I'll be seeing her tonight, tomorrow - so can't wait.
"We just had a catching up and we were just laughing down the phone."
He even spoke about the deal the two have to marry at the age of 30, saying: "I think that might be on the cards… I'm a bit younger than her so she'll have to wait longer."
ON. THE. CARDS.
But then Vicky shattered all our hopes that these two would have their "I got off the plane" Ross and Rachel moment, as Vicky said on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show back in July: "Turns out I don't really love him. He's so amazing, he's so brilliant… I think we’ve friend-zoned each other, it's mutual."
FFS.
BUT – the story could well have more to it, as Vicky posted an adorbs selfie of them on Instagram with the EVEN MORE ADBORBS caption: "That moment when you don't think you couldn't love someone anymore and then they do something so loyal, genuine and kind and they do it instinctively and unprompted... That is a special moment!"
These two <3.
