Alex Reid claims Katie Price outed him as a cross-dresser to make money!

Earlier this week, Katie Price told the Loose Women audience she was looking forward to seeing new film The Danish Girl because she’d “been in a similar situation.” The 'situation' she was referring to was when she discovered her then husband, Alex Reid, like to crossdress.

However, Alex has hit out at the former glamour model following her TV appearance and has claimed Katie outed him to make money. The cage fighter alleges that when he first appeared in public dressed as a woman (at Katie’s Standing Out book launch in 2009) it was all her idea.

“The only reason people know about Roxanne is because she exposed me at her book launch,” Alex claimed to* The Sun*. “Even then they didn't meet the real her, they met Katie's version of Roxanne - one she had conjured up for her own financial and business gains.

“I didn't want what I did privately to be forever in all the newspapers. There's not many things I regret, but I regret that book launch.”

Alex also slammed Katie for bringing up their private life again, saying: “I don't want - especially on daytime TV - for [Katie] to be talking about my private sex life.

“She says she doesn't want to talk about me, or give me airtime but she continues to talk about me - it's disgusting. I don't want my family and my daughter [Dolly] - let alone her own kids - to hear this stuff.”

Katie’s yet to respond to Alex’s interview. We're sure it won't be long...
