According to reports, George Clooney’s wife Amal Clooney – AKA the badass human rights lawyer – is in the running to be the new host of The Celebrity Apprentice.

The NBC reality show is currently hosted by Donald Trump – an American real estate magnate – who has been working on The Celebrity Apprentice since 2008, and the mere-mortals' version of the show, The Apprentice, since 2003.
But according to The Sunday Express, George’s newly-famed wife is in the running to replace Donald, proving to be the top trump after all.
A source told the paper: “As well as the cachet of being married to George, she is also a highly respected figure in her field.”
Building the bridge between the celebrity and business world, Amal, 37, is the perfect fit for the role. And add that to the air of mystery about the human rights lawyer, she is bound to reel in new, and intrigued viewers.
The show is shot in Manhattan, where Amal and George have a home together.
Jessica Alba, who founded the Honest Company, is rumoured to be in the running too, alongside Facebook CEO Sheryl Sandberg.
