We do like it when celebrities prove they’re actually just normal human beings by getting the tube to concerts or awards shows because it’s all lovely and fun.
And Amanda Holden took a leaf out of Rihanna and Jay Z’s travel book by getting the London Underground to the National Television Awards in London on Wednesday night.
But she didn’t look quite as ordinary as her famous American cousins in the pictures she posted on Twitter.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge looked rather lovely in a sophisticated black gown and, even though she was grinning from ear to ear, she didn’t seem too happy to be travelling with the civilians.
Amanda was forced to get the tube to the O2 Arena because the traffic was so bad she was going to be late.
She wrote: “Gave up. Traffic hideous to @NTA so me and @MrVermaak got the tube.”
The actress posed at the ticket office as she paid for her journey and held on tight to her ticket as she went down the escalator to the platform.
But once she was on the train she looked rather awkward – she attempted to flash a lovely smile but gave her fellow passengers some major side-eye and wrote: “Nearly there!!”
At least you don’t have to do it every day at 8am with your face stuck in someone’s armpit. Looking good though, Amanda!
