Amanda Holden has been doing something a little out of character this week. The TV presenter has been banging on random people’s doors and handing out Christmas presents, all to encourage us all to be nicer to our neighbours.

Amanda, along with the team from TK Maxx, walked around the streets and helped to put neighbours in touch with one another. And it’s actually very sweet.
“Christmas is a great time to break down barriers and take the plunge to knock on our neighbours door and spread some festive cheer,” Amanda tells heat.
“It will be a great way to end the year and it means the next time you pass each other you’ll have more to talk about than the weather and putting the bins out!”
