Amanda Holden is as much a part of Britain’s Got Talent as the buzzers that honk unsuccessful acts off the stage at the auditions.

But things could be about to change - the longstanding judge could be QUITTING the show.

Actress Amanda previously appeared as character Sarah Trevanion on television series Wild At Heart.

And, despite Sarah actually being killed off on the programme, Amanda says her body was never found so there’s always a chance of a comeback.

The star told The Sun’s TV Mag: “I went out in spectacular fashion. I was burned to death. But now I think they’re thinking of bringing it back.

“The producer told me, ‘We never found your body!’”

Amanda left Wild At Heart after three series so she could concentrate on Britain’s Got Talent.

The drama was given the chop in 2012 but, with rumours it might return, Amanda would like to reprise her role.

She said: “I’m like, ‘Film it in Cape Town and I’ll come back!’ It’d be like Bobby Ewing in the shower [in Dallas] - I’ll bob out of the bush having been nurtured by a family of cheetahs.”

But BGT fans shouldn't worry too much yet - the talent contest will always mean a lot to Amanda.

She added: “I went into it thinking it would be one show and that was it. I never expected to love it as much as I do.”
