The singer, who's real name is Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, has been enjoying the music at the Cochella festival at the weekend alongside girlfriend Kylie Jenner and will kick-start his UK tour dates this Thursday, performing at Bristol, Birmingham and London.

Tyga got his big break in the music industry when he bumped into singer Travie McCoy in a shoe store. Tyga rapped for him on the spot and the Gym Class Heroes frontman took his mixtape there and then.

He’s since been signed to one of the biggest labels of the world’s most notorious rappers Young Money Entertainment and has worked with everyone from Drake to Nicki Minaj and Wiz Khalifa.

Tyga will round off his time in the UK with a gig at Indigo at the O2 on Tuesday 28 April, where he will be supported by Splurgeboys, J Spades, and Haze Da Truth.

The London gig is being organised by Blak Friday and XL Productions, and you can buy tickets here.
