With both of them being a comic genius in their own right, we thought Amy Poehler and Nick Kroll were a match in comedy heaven.
But our dreams have all come crashing down today as the pair have reportedly parted ways after two years together.
SAD FACE.
A source told US Weekly:
“Unfortunately, they just couldn’t make the relationship work with their schedules.”
The former *Parks and Recreation *(only our favourite mockumentary since The Office) star is currently busy working on a new project, Sisters, with fellow funny woman Tina Fey.
And Nick, who starred in his own show - The Kroll Show - is also tied up in multiple new projects.
We can see how they would both be pretty busy.
“They really tried, but it just wasn’t realistic anymore… They were spending more time apart than together,” the source continued.
Suspiscion they had split arose when Amy turned up to the Emmys last weekend with business partner Brooke Porch by her side, not Nick.
They began their relationship in 2013, a year after Amy divorced from ex-husband Will Arnett, who she has two children with Archie 6, and Abel, 5.
No official announcement of the split has been made as of yet, but, just in case, we’re sending hugs your way Amz.
