It’s been four years since they split, and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still no closer to settling their differences. But last week, things took a serious turn for the worse after Brad went semi-public with his new girlfriend, German model Nicole Poturalski , and took her to the Château Miraval in France – yes, the place where Brad and Ange got hitched.
According to insiders, Ange was absolutely gobsmacked after seeing pictures of Brad flying into the south of France alongside 27-year-old Nicole, who’s believed to be in an open relationship with her businessman husband Roland Mary, 68. While Ange is putting on a brave face in public, in private she’s seething. And we’re told she has made it very clear to Brad, 56, that his new girlfriend will not be meeting their six kids.
“Ange can’t believe he took Nicole to the Château,” says an insider close to the actress, 45, who bought the Miraval vineyard with Brad in 2011 and married him there three years later.
“The fact that Nicole’s already married makes her even more convinced that it’s a result of Brad’s midlife crisis. He’s been telling people that it’s serious and Nicole’s here to stay, but Ange has said there’s no way in hell she’ll let her within a yard of her children [Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12].”

As heat recently told you, Brad and Angelina’s ongoing divorce and custody battle hit a major hurdle last month, after Ange filed a request to remove their judge from proceedings, accusing him of being “biased” towards one of Brad’s lawyers. Brad’s camp fired back by suggesting that Angelina was playing “tactical” games. But since then, it seems Brad’s been far less concerned about avoiding doing anything that might upset his ex.
According to our source, by going public with Nicole, he’s saying plainly that he’s no longer willing to play by Ange’s rules.
“He’s been miserable for years – now that he’s met someone, he is determined to enjoy it,” we’re told. “Angelina may be saying that his girlfriend can’t meet their kids, but he’s giving Nicole a key to his house. As far as he’s concerned, Ange had better get used to it.”
