The 39-year-old actress braved the cold to greet her fans on the red carpet at London’s Leicester Square and told them she was excited about directing the film but admitted “I didn’t know what I was up against when I was first getting into it.”
In an interview earlier with Channel 4, Angelina revealed she was hoping to return to England on a more permanent basis and hinted that she may open an office here.
She didn’t expand on why, but still – we wouldn’t mind spotting her nipping down to Pret at lunch…
“[The media] figured out that I’m quite fond of England,” Angelina said. “I have lived here before and in the future it would be very nice to have a foothold here for work. Some kind of an office I think would be nice.”
The mum of six – who was made an honorary dame by the Queen earlier this year – also praised Bob Geldof and the Band Aid 30 single which has recently come under fire for its ‘offensive lyrics’.
She added: “I think what Bob Geldof does comes from his heart and he’s a wonderful, wonderful man.
“Their intention [with the single] was absolutely in the right place. We all have our ways of approaching this continent and we all have our ways of answering the call to help others and they’re all different and we all do work differently, but I think in our hearts for the same reason, so that’s what’s important, and I have different ways.”
Maybe Bob could sign her up for next year?
