She’s put up with a lot during her relationship with Kyle Walker, but for long-suffering Annie Kilner, having her husband’s former mistress fly out to “support” him during the Euros is a step too far.
Last week, Lauryn Goodman, who has two kids with Kyle, flew out to Germany to watch England play Denmark with their son Kairo, who wore an England shirt with the footballer’s number and the word “Daddy” on the back.
While Annie and her sons sat with the other family members, Lauryn sat in a different stand – with the England WAGs’ security team reportedly primed to make sure she didn’t go near her rival.
And while Annie has tried to rise above the situation with her husband’s ex-fling in the past, this time she’s said to be putting her foot down – and, a source tells us, if Lauryn goes anywhere near Annie at the Euros, it’ll be showdown time.
“Annie had been preparing herself for Lauryn to be at the Euros. She was horrified by recent pictures of Lauryn’s kids in England shirts with ‘Daddy’ on them and feared she’d pull a stunt like this. Understandably, she’s furious,” says heat’s insider.
Lauryn, 33, has two kids with Kyle. Son Kairo was born following their brief fling in 2019 when he and Annie were on a break, and their daughter was born last summer, despite the fact Kyle and Annie were reunited and had married in 2021.
The day of the first England match, Lauryn was pictured at a park near her home in Sussex, with both kids dressed in Kyle’s England shirts. Meanwhile, Annie has been flying back and forth to Germany for matches, with her and Kyle’s kids Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and two-month-old Rezon donning their own version of their dad’s shirt.
In January this year, Annie, 30, called time on their marriage after finding out Kyle, 34, was the father of Lauryn’s youngest child, but after baby Rezon was born in April, Kyle moved back in. We’re told Kyle had reassured Annie she wouldn’t have to bump into Lauryn at the Euros games, but sadly it seems Lauryn has other ideas, leaving Annie fearing she could try to confront her or Kyle.
“Kyle has assured Annie that she won’t be allowed anywhere near her or any of their kids, but she worries there’ll be a showdown,” the insider says.
“As much as Annie hates what Kyle did, she just wants him to concentrate on his football as this will probably be his last tournament. Her main concern is Lauryn’s actions upsetting her boys. If she does anything to hurt them, she won’t hold back like she has been.”
In February, Annie’s sister Sian got involved in the feud on social media and stood up for her sister. In response to Lauryn uploading a video of Kairo saying his half-siblings’ names, Sian said, “Once again, we have been inundated with people sending content you’ve uploaded in an attempt to torment my pregnant sister and her family. You asked, ‘When will this end?’ in your interview over the weekend. We have been wondering the same.”
It’s safe to say the two families are not on the best of terms – and it looks like a confrontation is on the cards if Lauryn does approach Annie at the Euros. Our insider says Annie knows she has a strong support from the other WAGs and is ready to stand up to Lauryn.
“She doesn’t want the risk of her boys seeing Lauryn or Kairo for the first time in such a public setting – it’s not fair on anyone,” we’re told. “Although she’s supporting Kyle, she is still so angry that his actions have caused all of this, even though he’s trying to make it up to her and the boys.”
