Who’s hosting the next Brit Awards? Why, it’s none other than Declan Donnelly and Anthony McPartlin!
OK, even typing that feels unnatural. IT’S ANT AND DEC!
Ant and Dec – who as you’ll know first rose to fame on Byker Grove in the late eighties – said of the gig:
“We're really excited to be invited back to host The BRIT Awards 2016. In all honesty we only intended to do it for one year but had such a good time we are thrilled to be doing it again. Both of us are looking forward to what will be an incredible night, and we can't wait to celebrate the achievements of British music once again.”
The cheeky chaps also hosted the awards this year in February, taking over the gig from fellow funny man James Corden.
A&D first presented the prestigious award ceremony way back in 2001.
BRIT Awards Chairman Max Lousada said of the boys return:
"We're delighted to welcome Ant and Dec back to host the BRITs next year. They played a huge role in the success of this year's event and we’re all looking forward to another great show in 2016."
The event will take place on Wednesday the 24th of February 2016, so keep your schedule clear, yeah?
