There's been talk of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! host Ant McPartlin and wife Lisa Armstrong's relationship woes for a while now. Not only did she post a cryptic tweet likening her 2017 to a bag of rubbish, but she recently hit back at Twitter trolls claiming she's 'throwing' her marriage away amid rumours Ant wants a divorce.
Well the latest - as if the news Ant could have to pay Lisa £15 million wasn't stressful enough - is that Lisa's reportedly 'struggling to accept' the split.
Chatting to The Sun, a source said: "Ant and Lisa are definitely over. He sees no way back for their marriage. Lisa has been struggling to accept it is the end. It is all very sad, especially with all she has gone through this year.
"She was clinging to the hope they could work things out.
"Ant wants to announce it in an official statement in the new year and both try to move on. But Lisa has not agreed to this yet.
"No one else is involved and they are still on friendly terms. But they are both devastated."
This all comes after it was reported Ant could have to cough up £15 million if his divorce from Lisa goes ahead.
Divorce lawyer Cara Nuttall told The Mirror: “The starting point will always be a 50:50 division of all assets.
“It is likely her lawyers will argue that due to the length of their relationship that there is no room for negotiation on that."
Blimey.
