Ariana Grande shares emotional message one year on from Manchester attack

Ariana Grande has taken to Twitter to share a heart-warming message of support for victims of the Manchester bombing, one year on from the attack at her concert in the city.

"Thinking of you all today and every day 🐝...” she wrote.

"I love you with all of me and am sending you all of the light and warmth I have to offer on this challenging day.”

A number of other celebs quickly followed in Ariana’s footsteps, taking to social media to pay tributes to those who lost their lives or loved ones last year.

Radio DJ Nick Grimshaw wrote: “Remembering the Manchester attack and sending love to their families. I think today it’s important to remember the power of the One Love gig and how it brought not just the city but the world together. Such a positive bolt of energy in a hard, dark time. ”

Spice Girl Geri Horner shared a heartfelt message on the first anniversary of the attack.

Jake Quickenden tweeted: "1 year on we will never forget #manchester".

Today marks the first anniversary since 22 people were killed and 139 injured after suicide bomber detonated a bomb during Ariana’s concert at the Manchester Arena. More than half of the victims were children.

Weeks after the attack Ariana held a One Love Manchester Benefit concert, raising over £10million pounds for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fun set up for the victims and their families.

Ariana also included a beautiful tribute in her most recent music video. She featured a bee in her in the video, a symbol which is so strong for the people of Manchester.

The Manchester bee features at the end of Ariana's new four minute video, with the bee flying off into the sky.

There will be a minute’s silence at 2:30pm across the UK for the victims of the bombing.
