Pop star Ariana Grande has shocked fans by apparently showing off an engagement ring after just a few weeks of dating new boyfriend Pete Davidson. The 'One Last Time' singer split up from her boyfriend of two years Mac Miller in May and first started sharing photos on social media of her and Pete a few weeks ago.
According to many sources including US magazine, Ariana got engaged to Pete around a week ago and has been spotted wearing a pear-shaped diamond ring on her ring finger.
A source told US magazine, "They are a perfect fit. They are not rushing to get married. Their friends are really excited and supportive."
Meanwhile a source told People, "It’s a recent engagement. They’re just two people who found love quickly and make each other happy all the time. They both started talking about it this past weekend. It’s nothing they’ve been hiding."
The news of an engagement hasn't officially been confirmed by either Ariana or Pete, however they have been very public with their relationship and recently Ariana showed her love on Twitter, presumed to be about Pete saying, 'i love u sm hi & thank u i love u bye'. [sic]

Ariana split from her boyfriend of two years, Mac Miller, back in May, which was a total surprise to fans who had seen the couple cuddling at Coachella festival just a month before. American website People confirmed the reports by TMZ that the couple had decided to split, but would remain friends.
It was soon after Ariana and Mac's split that she started dating Saturday Night Live cast member, Pete Davidson. Then, just a week after going Instagram official Pete had not one, but TWO tattoos dedicated to his new girlfriend. Pete's tattoo artist London Reese shared a picture on Instagram of Pete's new tattoo, a black bunny ear mask behind his ear, which is Ariana's famous logo.
The Saturday Night Live star later shared a photo of his other Ariana tribute tattoo, which shows the singer's initials on his thumb.
Since confirming their relationship on social media the couple have been posting a number of loved-up photos together.
