Ariana Grande has revealed a brand new tattoo - on the inside of her hand! The 'Dangerous Woman' hitmaker, who is thought to have over 15 different inkings in various places on her skin, was tagged in a photo by LA-based tattoo artist Kane Navasard early this morning.
The snap, which shows some Japanese writing on the inside of Ariana Grande's palm, has received over 11,000 likes in nine hours, and was posted with the caption, 'If you didn’t know, @arianagrande is a G. #tattoo #singleneedle #losangeles #forthesinners #kanenavasard.'
The inking is supposed to mean '7 Rings', a tribute to the success of her brand new single. However, many Japanese and Chinese speakers in her fandom have pointed out that, unfortunately, that's not exactly a correct translation.
Many fans took to the comments section to reveal that her tat roughly translates to 'shichirin', which means 'BBQ grill' in Japanese. One wrote, 'It means portable charcoal grill in Japanese. Supposed to be 七つの指輪 for 7 rings' as another added, 'The characters may have originated in China but she definitely used them in the Japanese way, all of her marketing for 7 rings was in Japanese, but either way, this is wrong in both Chinese and Japanese.'

But Ari is aware of the situation, and according to Metro.co.uk responded to the comments. She apparently wrote, 'Indeed, I left out Japanese characters which should have gone in between. It hurt and still looks tight. I wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol.
'But this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if I miss it enough, I’ll suffer through the whole thing next time.'
