Dancing On Ice judge Ashley Banjo and his wife Francesca have welcomed their first child into the world, a beautiful baby girl!

Ashley, who originally sparked rumours that his wife had given birth a few weeks ago, finally broke the news on social media over the weekend, when he posted a super a cute photo of his little family.

Sharing a snap from the hospital room, the Diversity star revealed his baby girl was born on Thursday 21st February, with the happy couple deciding to call her Rose Adura Banjo. Ashley wrote, 'Our beautiful daughter came into the world at 6:45pm on 21st February 2019 - weighing a healthy 8lbs 13oz. Her name is Rose Adura Banjo. I am in the deepest love ever with my little family ❤️ @francescabanjo I love you and am so proud #nextchapter'. [sic]

Fans and friends of the dancer were quick to comment on the cute snap. Loose Women star Coleen Nolan wrote, 'Yay she's here!! So so happy for you both! What a gorgeous name! Xxx'. [sic]

Former TOWIE star Elliot Wright then added, 'Brilliant, congratulations to the both of you'. [sic]

It comes just weeks after fans were convinced the couple had welcomed their baby a few weeks back. Sharing a photo of them looking down into the camera, the Dancing on Ice judge wrote, '“Hi little one... We’re your parents!” 😂😂👶🏼 What does she think when she looks up and see’s this?... #babyviews #mumanddad' [sic]

But it turns out the pair were just teasing fans, as they welcomed their adorable baby girl just last week.

The pair first announced they were going to be parents back in October 2018, with Ashley revealing the couple's struggles to conceive. He wrote, ''I am so excited to finally share the news that we are having a baby!! Now the time has come to finally say this out loud I have no idea what to say! I don’t know if words alone can explain how full of joy and happiness we both are. It has been a more difficult journey to this point than most people know but we are now here with one of the most precious gifts in the world... A little girl!' [sic]

Meanwhile, as well as Ashley becoming a first time dad, he's also set to become an uncle again when his brother, The Greatest Dancer host Jordan Banjo, welcomes his second child into the world later in the year.

Jordan, who became a dad for the first time in 2018, announced his girlfriend Naomi Courts is pregnant again, just eight months after the pair welcomed baby Cassius.

Taking to social media to reveal the couple's happy news, Jordan shared an adorable photo of his eight-month-old son Cassius looking at a baby scan. He wrote, 'CASSIUS IS GOING TO BE A BIG BROTHER❤️! Genuinely never felt more blessed, last year having Cassius was the best thing that’s ever happened to me and @naomiella21, being a dad is genuinely the best job in the world and now we’re going to be mummy and daddy to another little bubba later this year! @naomiella21 I’m so proud of you and the amazing mum/partner you are❤️ Can’t wait for the rest of this year and the crazy adventure of our little family getting that bit bigger!' Cute!

It seems the Banjo brothers are attempting to create the next generation of Diversity stars! 🙈

Meanwhile, despite his new baby girl only arriving into the world on Thursday, Ashley was back at work last night (Sunday 24th February), as he appeared on the Dancing On Ice judging panel.

As the show aired, many fans took to Twitter to joke he looked 'tired' after becoming a dad for the first time.
