Footballer Ashley Cole is set to become a father for the first time, as reports say his girlfriend is pregnant with their first child.
Sharon Canu, an Italian model, is apparently due to give birth in March 2016, and the couple are expecting a baby boy, according to* The Sun on Sunday*.
Cole is said to be ‘over the moon’ about the news, as is especially excited to welcome a son.
The revelation that she is six months pregnant was confirmed to the paper by Canu’s Grandfather, who also said:
“Ashley is very happy. He’s a good guy, and my granddaughter is a beauty.”
Cole, who is currently playing for AS Roma football team in Italy, is said to have met Sharon earlier in 2015, and they were first spotted out together last June in a nightclub.
Cole was previously married to X Factor judge Cheryl Versini-Fernandez who he wed in 2006, put they parted ways just three and a half years later after multiple cheating claims against the footballer.
