There we were on Sunday night, watching Poldark and swooning over Aidan Turner and his beautiful, beautiful face (and enjoying the gripping plot and scenic shots of the Cornish coast too, obvs), when we saw there was going to be a live Twitter Q&A with Poldark himself after the show!
Yep, Aidan manned BBC One's Twitter feed to answer questions from eager fans - but instead of questions about the show, pretty much everyone got a bit OTT, and started inundating the star with lusty comments and marriage proposals.
Aidan did his best to answer the most sensible questions - we learned he loves wearing period costume, he's a "decent" horserider, he knows his hair has a Twitter account, and he enjoyed doing his skinny-dipping scene because it was on one of the hottest days of the year fans self.
