Austin Powers actor Verne Troyer reassures fans that he’s “OK” after he suffered a seizure

Austin Powers actor Verne Troyer, best known for playing Mini-Me, has suffered a seizure and was rushed to hospital.

He suffered the seizure while he was at the Heart of Texas Comic Con on Saturday.

But he’s now taken to Twitter to reassure his fans that he’s doing just fine.

He posted a video from his bed, above, saying:

"I'm sure you guys have heard some news that I went to the hospital.

"But I just want to reassure you and let everybody know that I'm doing fine. I was there for maybe a couple of hours, did some tests and now I'm here at the hotel."

He also tweeted, letting his fans know that he is “OK”.

The comic con event where Verne suffered the scary episode sent Verne a supportive tweet, saying:

"We wanted to wish Verne Troyer a speedy recovery. He mentioned that he's doing okay. We look forward to seeing him soon!"
