If you haven't yet seen the live action version of Beauty and the Beast, go immediately (it's great), but we found out recently that it was originally even MORE great. Because it had a Frozen reference.
Josh Gad, who plays LeFou in Beauty and the Beast, and also is the voice of Olaf in Frozen fought for a little Easter Egg but eventually lost out. It consisted of him basically becoming a snowman.
"The Easter egg I fought for [director] Bill Condon to put in but we never did, there's a moment in the original where a bunch of snow falls on LeFou and he becomes a snowman and I thought, 'This could kill'." he told People.
"It's a little meta but it could be great."
It WOULD have been if it had stayed in. Oh well. Regardless, the film has done pretty well at the box office Regardless, Beauty and the Beast has been a hit at the box office, and has managed to weather difficulty in countries such as Malaysia and Kuwait attempting to censor the movie.
