So as Yeezy decided to reprise his 2009 Taylor Swift ambush at this year’s Grammy Awards, when he climbed on stage after American artist Beck took the award for Best Album and beat Beyoncé in the process, Beck has now spoken out.
Kanye West stormed the stage during Beck’s acceptance speech, then seemed to think better of it and turned to go – but not before Beck noticed what he was doing and, pretty good-naturedly in our opinion, beckoned for him to come back on.
Now Beck has praised Kanye by calling him a 'genius'.

AND the 44-year-old agrees with Kanye, that Beyoncé should have won the award following.
Beck even went as far to say he aspires to be more like Kanye, who criticised the Grammy organisers for giving the gong to the musician.
After the ceremony Beck told US Weekly: "I was just so excited he was coming up. He deserves to be on stage as much as anybody. How many great records has he put out in the last five years right?"
When the magazine asked him if Beyoncé should have one, the rocker said: "Absolutely. I thought she was going to win. Come on, she’s Beyoncé! You can’t please everybody, man."
No that's incorrect Beck, you can't please Kanye.
"I still love him and think he’s genius. I aspire to do what he does."
