heat reported yesterday that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were claimed to be on the verge of a split. In the US, claims the couple – who’ve been married for almost 10 years – were at breaking point were everywhere and we have to admit, we had a little cry. They are the perfect couple.
Ben and Jen were pictured out yesterday in LA with their three children, Violet, nine, Seraphina, six, and Samuel, three, but despite this show of togetherness new reports claim that Ben is already seeking legal advice.
“Ben and his team have definitely been engaging divorce attorneys,” an insider told Radar Online. “He’s positioning for a divorce.”
They added: “No one is surprised [he is talking to attorneys]. They are more surprised they lasted this long.”
Speculation over their relationship starred when the pair started spending more time apart. Jen, 43, has been filming her latest flick, Nine Lives, in Canada, while Ben, 42, has been busy working on his own filming commitments.
Another insider claimed they’d been struggling to make their relationship work for some time. “Often, when Ben and Jen have a problem, they just agree to ride it out and be miserable together until they can get some time apart,” the source said.
It’s also rumoured that Ben wants the sad news to be announced before their anniversary so he can crack on with his promotion of the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice film.
